Why does the Read Aloud feature not work?
Britannica’s Read Aloud feature, which allows users to click a button and hear a paragraph of text read out loud, is provided to all users at the elementary level, and may be purchased for upper levels. Please inform your system administrator that the Read Aloud feature has the following technical requirements: 1) The following Internet access must be allowed: tts.eb.com 3600 IN A 64.124.231.34 Port 8080 tts.eb.com 3600 IN A 64.124.236.19 Port 8080 2) Computer plug-in Macromedia Flash Player version 10.0 or higher.
