Why does the Public Housing Agency accept so many applications if there isn enough housing?

0

Since slots on our subsidized rental housing programs (Section 8 and Public Housing) are offered depending on availability it is impossible to predict the amount of housing that will be available in the future. Also, not all applicants meet the program guidelines and requirements of the housing programs.
