Why does the Pollux have an internal memory?
The Pollux has an internal memory in which it stores all data on the processes it uses. The Leda technicians can retrieve this stored information by means of infra-red communication. In this way we can always tell which processes were run and when. All error reports or process faults are carefully recorded, for later analysis and resolution if necessary.
