Why does the piston size for the mini slide type DGSL not match the specifications in the type code?

This was done to make the mini slide DGSL more comparable with the previous mini slide of type SLT, which has two pistons and which would therefore have greater cylinder force for the same size when compared with the DGSL. For this reason, the piston on the DGSL is always one step bigger than the type code specifies, so as to give a similar cylinder force as the slide SLT for the same model size.
