Why does the Pandora app ask for access to contacts, calendar, phone state and GPS information?
Network Communication & System Tools: we use these permissions to access the internet to stream music, to permit Bluetooth connections, and to manage these connections. Your Personal Information: these permissions enable two features– both of which are always entirely under your control– to share your Pandora stations with a friend via email, and to add an event featured in an ad (like a movie premier) to your calendar. If you decide that you want to share a station, Pandora will allow you to select an email address from your contact list and send an email. If you decide that an ad offers an event you’d like to attend, Pandora will offer to add this event to your calendar. These functions would always be initiated by you.
