Why does the PAC Governing Board have sole authority and how does it make its decisions to spend PAC funds?

A – The PAC Governing Board has a political duty to carry out the political strategy of the SMCFA. This is done as follows: 1 – The Political Director makes recommendations to the Representative Assembly for political endorsements, including Board and legislative candidates. 2 – The RA either approves or rejects the recommended endorsements. 3 – Once candidates are endorsed, the PAC Governing Board makes tactical decisions on how to spend PAC funds. This decision is based upon how much money is available and how the money should best be spent. It is the duty of the President and the Political Director to work with all of the key players in the elections to make the best determination on how to spend the PAC funds.
