Why does the OAMPS insurance application form specify December 31st as the end date for insurance cover?
The Insurer determines an insurance year that fits in with the Associations membership processes in order that insurance is only provided to current members. The insurer is entitled to verify that applicants are paid up members, so if you are taking out or renewing insurance you should take care to renew your VAHTC membership promptly when it becomes due.
