Why does the new Howard Stern Media Player ask me if Im sill there?
There is a 90 Minute timeout built into the player. Unfortunately Sirius has required this “feature” to prevent unnecessary bandwidth usage by users leaving the player running even when they aren’t at their computer. We are working on an enhancement to this feature that knows when you are active on your computer and automatically resets the timer for the feature. The player has a built-in feature that automatically checks for updates each day, so you don’t need to do anything to receive the upgrade when it’s ready.
