Why does the navigation bar still display speed in “knots” even though I changed the setting to “mph” by selecting View > Preference > Unit?

Make sure that you reset the unit with live GPS connection. If there is no GPS data coming through, the display won’t change even if you select another unit in View/Show Preference/Unit.
