Why does the Mode or Select button not work?
We have found that some of the units were compressed during fabrication, resulting in the buttons being held in their pressed state. Grip the unit in both hands with the thumbs across the top and the fingers spread across the bottom. Now squeeze and slightly twist on the plastic housing. It should make some clicking noises. Do this once or twice only. This should free up the buttons that got stuck during fabrication. If this does not fix your button problem please return the unit to your vendor for a replacement unit. You should have to do this one time only.
