Why does the messaging memory sometimes switch back to Phone memory?

0

The messaging memory may change back from the mass memory or memory card to phone memory when connecting the mobile device via USB cable to a PC and selecting the “Mass storage” connection mode. The “Mass storage” mode prevents the messaging application from accessing the messaging memory and the messaging storage switches back to phone memory. The messaging memory can be changed back to mass memory or memory card by editing the setting Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use. The issue occurs only when connecting to the PC by using the “Mass storage” mode. If PC Suite or Ovi Suite is installed in the PC, you can use “PC Suite” mode as the connection method, the messaging memory does not change back to phone memory in that situation.
