Why does the media continue to insist Val is the “Bad Boy” of Hollywood?
Now that is a good question and a tough one to answer. Unfortunately bad press sells. People like to read gossip and dirt. It is our belief that there are always two sides to every story, and that misunderstandings, or creative differences have lead to the start of rumors. Rumors have a way of taking on a life of their own, becoming more distorted and less factual as they spread. Since there are many actors and directors with great things to say about working with Val Kilmer, we believe that Val has gotten a bum rap. Val is a perfectionist who gives 110% to his work and expects high standards of others. He has stated that he may have unintentionally come across as rude, or has been difficult when trying to convey his passion or ideas for a film.
