Why does the library offer classes and workshops?
The City Tech library supports the educational mission of the College and seeks to help all members of the college community succeed in their academic pursuits. Library instruction is designed to help students improve their research skills in order to find books, articles, and other resources required for course assignments. Library instruction can take the form of workshops, course-related sessions, and tours. It helps students master the research process, develop research paper topics, think critically, cite sources correctly, and develop information retrieval skills.
