Why does the “Last Sale within Past 2 Yrs” map theme only show some Validity of Sale types?
The “Last Sale within Past 2 Yrs” map theme was primarily developed for use by County Real Estate staff to aid in their appraisal work. To make the map less cluttered, the following types of transfers were omitted: Deed of Correction; Deed of Exchange; Deed of Gift; Highway Take; and Owner Name Change Only. You can still see these types of transfers (if applicable) on the Property Information page of the GIS-Web as the ‘Validity of Sale’ entry. For more information about the ‘Validity of Sales’ values, please contact the County’s Real Estate office.
