A. Labor organization officers have to certify the information on Form T-1, because they have the obligation to disclose information on trusts in which the reporting labor organization is interested. Labor organizations certify that the Form T-1 is based on the information received from the trust, that they have no reason to believe that the information is inaccurate, and that there is no willful or intentional misinformation. If the officials have reason to believe that the information is inaccurate they should, if appropriate, contact the trust for further information or OLMS for further instructions.
