Why does the insertion of a video movie clip into any slide of a PowerPlugs: Video Backgrounds enhanced presentation cause the PowerPlugs: Video Backgrounds to go static during playback?
When “View Show with Effects” is selected, the PowerPlugs: Video Backgrounds Player invokes Windows Media Player to play back the video that has been applied to the presentation. However, Windows Media Player cannot store and play back the temporal compression data for more than one video format. (It cannot concurrently play a video clip inserted in a slide as well as video applied to the background.) The work around to this limitation is to insert an AVI movie clip into your slide(s). And, choose either WMV or MPEG for your Video Backgrounds. This works because when “View Show with Effects” is selected, the PowerPlugs Video Backgrounds Player plays back the AVI, while concurrently, the Windows Media Player displays the moving video background(s).
