Why does the ILIR support McCain/Kennedy?
The legislation addresses both immigrants who are presently in the United States and those who may intend to come in the future. The proposed H-5B program would cover the undocumented and would allow them to enter the program without returning to their country of origin. The H-5A program offers a future stream of work visas to new Irish immigrants.
