Some EU countries only have a handful of applications every year. Some EU countries have had as little as 5 or 10 asylum applications every year. These are European countries. The UK has on average 100,000 plus applications and these same people may have travelled through other safe EU nations. Why is this..?? I say this. There is a waiting list of over 450,000 people trying to claim asylum in the United Kingdom. Add together another 100,000 applications every year, of mostly false asylum applications. WHAT WILL IT TAKE FOR THE GOVERNMENT to change the system?? Does the waiting list have to become 1 million people? Or 2 million people..?? Give it another 5-10 years and that’s what will happen. The system will have to be changed eventually so why not do it now. They need to change the system. Is the government really that surprised when a failed asylum seeker disappears and does not register..?? All asylum applications should be speeded up. It’s pretty obvious where the dangerous zones
