Why does The Hartford conduct candidate assessments?
The MBA program is very important to The Hartford. Our intent is to keep the program small and highly selective. We are looking to identify candidates with the potential to make immediate, significant contributions and advance into leadership roles in our organization. Furthermore we plan to make a significant investment in newly hired MBA s by working with each individual to identify and provide challenging, high-impact development opportunities. The Company has found the assessment process to be very helpful in providing another source of information to help in selection decisions. In addition, candidates get an opportunity to participate in a unique developmental experience.
