Why does the Guestbook allow off-topic posts?

0

Each Guestbook has its own rules, and there are many Guestbooks devoted to the Street (see below). On this Guestbook, we have chosen to foster a sense of community and friendship between the posters by allowing posts on subjects other than Corrie. Usually, but not always, a discussion can be started because of a storyline or event on the programme, but may then stray into general areas of British culture, or the different cultures of other countries in which Corrie airs. Occasionally, posts are concerned solely with events or experiences in the lives of the regulars here. This is acceptable, because even though we are all fans of the programme, we don’t talk about it to the exclusion of everything else. ON-topic posts are always welcome of course, and will usually steer the conversation back to the Street!

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
