Berkeley County’s GIS Mapping Service is HIGHLY graphic intensive. The use of a high-speed Internet connection, such as a Cable Modem or DSL will provide optimal performance. Dial-up Internet access should work with the GIS Mapping Service but it will be significantly slower in downloading the GIS information. The key is to be patient while the GIS Mapping Service loads.
