Why does the fragrance of the Bulgarian Rose Otto change?
Different growing and environmental conditions (see 1 above) will produce different fragrances and aromas. Sometimes the fragrance is flowery, rosy, lemony, fresh etc. but they are all extraordinary and beautiful. The quality of the oil is always within the set quality control parameters set by the Bulgarian authorities. With adulterated rose scents (like perfumes, cosmetics and food items) the fragrance is always modified for mainstream consumer consistency.
