Why does the FLEXlm log file say that I have multiple gridgend servers running?
There is probably an old lock file left by a previous gridgend process that did not shut down cleanly. Look for a lockgridgend file in the temporary directory used by the user that last launched the license server and remove it. Stop any currently running license managers (lmutil lmdown). You should now be able to start the license manager.
