Why does the Fender Amp Field Guide look different now?
While we appreciate the effort that Mark Ware put into the old FFG we didn’t want to take someone else’s work and call it our own. You may have noticed that the old FFG site didn’t change very often and that the format had been the same since 1997. Web development has come a long way since then and we hope to make the Amp Guide more dynamic and easier to use. You can now search for the amp you’re looking for using a standard key word search rather than having to hunt through lists and frames trying to find an amp.
