Why does the Fat bastard Wine Company use synthetic corks instead of natural corks?
A.) Although there tends to be a romantic image of popping a traditional cork, the truth is 4-7% of natural corks impart a flavor to the wine that is not intended by the winemaker. Synthetic corks allow the wine to breathe while ensuring that the wine we work hard to craft, tastes exactly as it should. Since quality is our paramount concern we do not want even one bottle of Fat bastard to be anything less than what our exceptional audience has come to expect.
