This pertains to Duration and Average Throughput. It is conceivable that the Job Elapsed Time, as reported in the job log, does not agree with the sum of the session elapsed times in the job log, even with ALD ensuring any elapsed time reported in Verify sessions is included in the Job Elapsed Time. Therefore, the total calculated in the Jobs by Server view may not equal the number appearing in the Status view. Average Throughput is calculated by (Media MB)/((Duration/60.)+.001), with .001 added into the divisor to prevent a divide by zero error. In the Jobs by Server view, this column is calculated for each row, and the total Average Throughput for the view is calculated again using the column total in place of each of the figures in the formula. In the Status view, the Duration figure in Average Throughput is taken from the Job Elapsed Time, and as explained above, this can differ from the session total, and therefore can cause the Status view Average Throughput to differ from the to
