Why does the display turn to black and white at night?
A- The LCD does not turn to black and white at night; the camera converts the image to black and white at very low light levels. When dealing with LCD technology and with CCD cameras, achieving full color in very low light levels is difficult, maintaining good contrast levels and good image quality is difficult because there is not enough available light to allow the camera to product good image quality, so the easy answer to this challenge is to have the image convert to black and white. This allows you to maintain a good image with good contrast.
