Why does the cutting torch/tip leave a small piece of uncut metal at the end of the cut once in a while and the billet won separate?
Answer Make sure you have high flow regulators installed on the system. Check the regulators to see if they are functioning properly. Regulators must be set to proper pressures. Check if the cutting tip is free from debris. Make sure that the tip is a minimum of 5″ above the working material. Check if hoses are leaking or damaged. Make sure you are using the proper tip for the job.
