Why does the Council have a long, drawn out process to follow when they advertise for a job?
The main of of The Moray Council is to provide a high quality, cost effective service for the community. Making sure we have the right person in the right job helps us to achieve this. Our recruitment and selection process is based on ‘appointment on merit’ when we recruit and select new employees. We aim to have shortlisted and informed those candidates of interview dates within 4 weeks of the closing date.
