Why does the control (or observe) window of the remote machine pop up for a moment, and then disappear?
This symptom has only been seen over TCP/IP connections where there is a high rate of packet loss between the guest and host machines. Make sure you have the latest build and compatible version of Timbuktu Pro. In each new version, we have made modifications to Timbuktu so that connections are more robust and stand a better chance of staying connected on networks where there is high packet loss. Therefore, the guest will now be able to connect, even when there is a high rate of packet loss, but the connection will probably be slow due to the network problems. Also try lowering the monitor settings on the host (controlled) system. This includes lowering colors and resolution. Also make sure to check the preferences for hiding the desktop picture or pattern within the host’s Control\Look preferences.
