Why does the British summer suck?

Because this year and the past two years the Jet Stream has inexplicably been lying over the Channel during the summer instead of lying way to the north beyond Scotland. If you notice on TV weather charts this has the effect of being like a barrier that holds back the warm weather in Europe from reaching the UK as it should do. Plus as there is very cold air one side of the barrier and very warm air the other side this clashes and causes high winds, storms, gloom, and rain for us! I have previously tried asking on various forums online for an answer about WHY the Jet Stream has been so low for three years and so far no-one can give a valid reply (it’s pants to blame it on generic global warming) and no-one can say when it will return to normal. Its low position in abnormal for one year, but for three years in a row I think it’s not been like this before (I may be wrong). Until the Jet Stream returns to its normal northerly position during our summers then we will continue to have rubbi
