Why does the Bible state homosexuality is a sin?
Fornication is a sin. There are no marriage provisions in the Bible for people of the same sex. When people of the same sex, have any sort of sexual contact, it is therefore, fornication. I don’t believe God intended for me to be gay, but I am. I don’t believe God intended people to have cancer, but many do. Half the people I know are alcoholics, perhaps they are genetically disposed toward this trait, but they can choose wether to drink or not.There are many things that exist now in this imperfect world that were not intended, but we have to deal with. You are what you are, it’s what you choose to do with it that matters.
