Why does the Base Information area not allow me to make changes on certain Position Control documents?
Depending on what type of Change Reason you are doing for a position will make the difference. On the Budget, Distribution, Delete, and Reactivate change reasons the Base Information is Read Only. If you need to make a specific change to the Base area then you would need to go the Update Position Control change reason.
