Why does the AYSO need Safety Directors?
The Safety Director is an important part of AYSO’s risk management program. Good risk management keeps our insurance costs low and insurance expenses represent only 20 percent of the National Support & Training Center (NSTC) player fee. The Safety Director is expected to become the most knowledgeable person in the Region regarding AYSO insurance plans and risk management.
