Why does the art look squished or stretched when I import my own graphic for a dvd movie cover background?
You background graphic may look squished or stretched when it has a dramatically different aspect ratio from the label you’re putting it on. When a picture is inserted as a label background, it will become either squished or stretched to fit the dimensions of the dvd movie cover you want to put on. For example, if the width of the image is as twice as its highth, and you try to set it as background for the jewel case front, which is square, then your image may appear squished. You can either select the images that are roughtly the same shape ( and aspect ratio ) as the dvd movie covers or you can add them to the dvd movie cover as regular clip art rather than as background to avoid distortion.
