Why does the ABC show, Extreme Home Makeover, destroy perfectly good homes?
They don’t destroy good homes. The people getting a new home aren’t getting one because they don’t like theirs anymore, something is wrong with theirs and it may be infested with bugs or mold or it may have a messed up foundation or issues with it that aren’t able to be fixed. At the beginning of each show they tell you a history of each family and that family describes whats wrong with the house.
