Why does the 32-bit version of LinkWise seem slower than the 16-bit version?
Access to GroupWise 5.x appointment, note, task, email and address book data is provided by an object-oriented, OLE-based API. While this interface provides a great deal of flexibility, a price is paid in terms of performance, especially when adding or modifying items in GroupWise. Of course, the time taken to access and modify information in the GroupWise data store depends on many factors, including machine speed, the size of your GroupWise installation, the number of items that LinkWise needs to extract from the Psion and GroupWise and network traffic.
