Why does the 20’ boat have only a 7’6″ beam?

0

This is the perfect size beam for this design. All the dimensions of the boats are a function of a bigger picture to provide the best overall performance. Unlike most other boats, the Port Erie cats were designed for maximum performance, not top speed, not sexy looks and certainly not to appeal to first time boat buyers who count the number of cup holders and want swoopy graphics on the sides.
