Why does tha carter 3 suck??
I honestly believe that if people are sayin that the Carter 3 sucks, they are definitely entitled to their own opinion. I also feel that these people are expecting either one of two things; the Carter 2 remade, or the second coming of Jesus. This is the problem with the way people view album progression and growth in an artist: once you make a great album, you’re almost stuck doing that formula, less you want people to turn on you. Wayne’s new album is really good, and it’s defiantly NOT The Carter 2; but it’s not supposed to be. Wayne is really trying to take steps towards legitimizing claims of him being the greatest rapper. To do that, you’ve gotta show growth and progression. This is an album showing maturation. The Carter 3 is a great body of work, and should be treated as such.
