Why does TEFL International have a moderation process now?
TEFL International certificates have been greatly accepted by TESOL employers all over the world for over ten years and course graduates have found their training very valuable and necessary to their future teaching placements. However, TEFL International felt the need to answer public queries of why TEFL International certificates – as good as they are – is there an external means whereby all courses can be verified as meeting international standards? As TEFL International has grown to offer standardized certificates on every continent, the CEO felt the need to offer both course participants and TESOL employers a validation of the certificate quality through a moderation process. As such, the CEO soon hired a Moderation Coordinator to work with the Academic Director and CEO in setting up independent moderation procedures.
