Why does Tamworth need a Post 16 Centre as opposed to sixth forms in each school?

By having one large sixth form pupils will benefit from greater choice and better specialist facilities. Also with the central location and links with the college and Torc centre, the sixth form centre will have more of a ‘campus’ feel and hopefully better prepare young people for the transition to higher education.
