Why does Stuzo charge me for Cash Sales Transactions?

An In-Person Cash (available only to members of the General Community) or On-Campus Cash (available only to members of the College Community) exchange occurs when you pay the seller in person with cash at the time of exchange. When members sell items on the site, Stuzo.com deducts a minimal sales fee. This processing charge is, for cash transactions, to be paid by the buyer with a credit/debit card at the time of checkout. The remaining balance is the amount you pay the seller, which is equal to the amount that the seller posted the book for, minus the Stuzo Processing Fee. The fees are essentially to cover our costs and to keep our Stuzo Community up and running for you, but also to weed out the “bad apples” that do not follow through on In-Person and On-Campus Cash Transactions. Team Stuzo makes all efforts in running a “clean marketplace” and keeping this charge as minimal as possible for you so you and your friends can continue to have fun and save!
