Why does Steve Austin hate Eric Bischoff/WCW so much?
Steve Austin’s main reason for his strong dislike for Eric Bischoff is because of the way he treated him while in WCW. In 1993 Austin was teaming with Brian Pillman as the Hollywood Blondes. The team was very over with the fans but Eric Bischoff broke them up to give Austin the U.S title and matches against the World champion. Austin was given the U.S title soon after and was then ready to fight world champion Ric Flair. Flair even wanted to feud with Austin in the summer of 1994 and then eventually drop the title to him but Bischoff signed Hulk Hogan at the time and Flair dropped the title to Hogan and his feud with Austin was dropped. After Hogan’s title win Austin was put into a feud with Ricky Steamboat for the U.S title. The two had a series of good matches with Steamboat winning the title.
