Why does SPR only create the core when I have Padframe generation, Pad route, and Core place and route options checked in my SPR setup?
The reason no padframe was generated is probably due to the lack of padframe definitions in the TPR or EDIF netlist. If you want to create a padframe without having a padframe definition in the netlist, you will need to manually enter the required data in the Padframe Setup and Pad Route Setup. Please refer to the section titled “Generating a Padframe Without a Netlist or Without Pad Cells” in Section 2 of the user’s manual for detailed instructions.
