Why does Sothink Burner take longer time to format a DVD+RW disk than other software?
According to the particularity of a DVD+RW disk, it takes Sothink Burner averagely about 20 minutes to format one. Some other software does not execute complete formatting, so it spends less time on formatting. However when writing data onto the disk, it has to format the remained disk space first. Sothink Burner always completely format a disk, thus it doesn’t need anymore formatting when write data to the disk. One DVD-RW disk only needs to be formatted once. We regard time of formatting around 20 minutes is acceptable.
