Why does some legitimate email get quarantined by GWGuardian?
It could be that the algorithm misidentified the email and incorrectly quarantined it – a false positive. If that is the case, you can release the email from quarantine via www.loyola.edu/myspam. This is why it is important to occasionally look through your quarantine – to see if any legitimate email was caught. Another reason legitimate email could be blocked by GWGuardian might be the presence of a dangerous attachment type (.exe, .bat, .com, …). If that is the case, please contact the Technology Service Center at x5555 to have your email released to you.
