Why does soda list their ingredients on their cans but beer doesn ?

A lot of them are not identifiable because they cross over with other ones. Beer makers put malts, hops together with yeast. It’s transformed, up to a thousand different flavor compounds. So ideally if you get a list of ingredients you should have to go through and list all of those. Beer makers would have no have room on the label or the cases.
