This is because ShowShifter has not been able to detect a video capture card. Your computer needs to have a video capture card with a TV tuner in order to receive television broadcasts, please see our list of supported cards. Even without a TV/Video card you will still be able to use ShowShifter to playback video files, watch DVD’s, listen to music and see pictures.
