. The Silverlining Lite utility v1.0 that comes with SyQuest EZ135 Drive conflicts with the Scanner Control software on the Macintosh. Scanner Control hangs when there are no cartridges inserted in the SyQuest drive. To solve the problem, do not install (or uninstall) the Silverlining Lite utility; use PC Exchange instead.
