Why does Savvy Diner require 24 hours notice for making reservations?

To insure accuracy and success, our reservation center needs this time to deal with the various time zones and to be sure that they can contact the proper staff at the restaurant. We are usually able to make reservations on shorter notice, but our success ratio can fall off.
